A Nebraska home is destroyed after a Friday night fire. The Norfolk Fire Department was called to the 300 block of North 9th Street.  The fire was located on the 1st floor but later spread to the 2nd floor. An investigation revealed that a wood stove was a contributing factor to the fire and the house is total loss. It was valued at approximately $62,000 with possessions inside at about $30,000. The Hadar Volunteer Fire Department and the local chapter of the American Red Cross also assisted the Norfolk Fire Department.
