KMEG 14 - News, Weather, Sports for Sioux City and Siouxland | Lisa Ryan

Lisa was born and raised in Texas but chose Iowa as the best place to get her education and raise her family. 

Lisa first came to Iowa on an athletic scholarship to the University of Iowa where she graduated with a degree in Geology and a Masters in Science Education. She later went back to school to study her passion, weather, at Mississippi State, recieving a B.S. in Meteorology.

Lisa came to the Siouxland area in 2001 when her husband became the Head Coach of the Morningside Football Team.  When she is not forecasting the weather or managing the schedules of her six children, she teaches group fitness classes at Four Seasons Health Club.  Lisa also likes to travel, run, and spend time with her family.
