Mike joined KMEG 14 as Sports Director in the summer of 2010. He previously spent four years working in his native Michigan, serving as a Sports Anchor/Reporter in Cadillac and Sports Photojournalist/Reporter in his hometown of Grand Rapids. During his time in Michigan, Mike covered sports at the high school, college, minor league, and professional levels.
Mike graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts. He has also won "Best Sportscast" honors from the Michigan AP and "Merit Sportscast" from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.
In his free time, Mike enjoys watching sports, especially CMU and the Detroit pro teams whenever possible.
